The Synod of the newly formed Irish Orthodox Christian Church / Irish Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America has complete authority over this Jurisdiction.
NOTE: This Jurisdiction is in resistance and is responsible for its own ecclesiastical affairs and is NOT subject to any other Orthodox body, foreign or domestic.
The Most Reverend MICHAEL
Bishop MICHAEL holds the honor of being the Spiritual Shepherd of the Irish Orthodox Christian Church (and is senior member of the Synod of Bishops).
He also serves as Archabbot of the Monastic Mother house for the Latin Orthodox Benedictine Fathers (Benedictine Fathers of the Most Holy Theotokos – as we are known locally) and it’s dependencies.
The Bishop is the spiritual son of Schema-Bishop YURI of Thrice Blessed Memory: (Ukrainian Orthodox Church in America). The Chief Bishop blesses the usage of the ancient liturgy of Saint Gregory the Great for western rite usage (with removal of the Filioque and in addition is added a stronger Epiclesis from the Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom).
